Africa Bike Week - a fun website advertising the International bike rally held every Easter at Margate on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast. InterComm provides all the text, and works within the strict corporate identity guidelines set by Harley-Davidson for the rallies they sponsor. |

Volco Enterprises - a distributor and agent for high-end audio visual systems and automated smart homes. The site needed to deal with their wide range of products which includes amplifiers, CD Players, Tuners, Turntables, iPod stations, speakers, sophisticated mounting systems. Intercomm also designed their logo. |

Dirk Meyer Designs - A wholesaler of handcrafted products and toys. Items are made from parasite wood (alien trees removed from indigenous forests) or other environment-friendly renewable resources such as coconut shells and sea shells. |

FeatureReach This sophisticated site for an advertising and PR company offers subscribers a monthly newsletter outlining dates and contact information for Features in South African media. This allow companies to reach their target market more effectively. |

Africa Bike Week - A long term client had a problem - a messy Rally website that had grown organically and had no-one to update it. We did a quick redesign, rewrote the content, added a gallery and had the new site up and running in 48 hours! |

Shared Petroleum - a distributor and exporter of petroleum products to central and southern Africa. The site is small, but has a complex application form which I divided into a multipage form wizard. This means that this target users - many of whom do not speak english as a first language - are presented with quesitons in small related groups. |

The Couch Guys - a retailer of low cost home furnishings. Their pink and purple site needed updating, but the structure (created by the business owner in MS Office) was locked for editing. I promised that withinin just 8 hours from their initial phone call, I would completely redesign and rebuild the site... whew. |

Pamodzi Industrials
Over the years I have done 7 different websites for companies in the group. After a BEE transaction in September 2006, it was decided to consolidate the group companies in a single website. The design had to complement the numerous products and company marketing brands, while still maintaining the impact of a substantial group. And it all had to happen in 2 weeks! A new design for the group was completed in 2008. |

Uniclox - Biometric time and attendance systems. The site is a new look to complement the companies new branding strategy. The company has a wide range of hi-tech products. |

GF Bridal Couture outfits nearly 1 000 brides each year with elegant gowns and accessories. The site gets over unique 400 unique visitors each day from Africa and Europe. InterComm handles all copywriting and photography for collections, which are updated bi-annually. The site was last redesigned in 2006. |

InterComm maintains the HOG South African website, as well as a number of rally websites. InterComm created the initial sites as below but only maintains Johannesburg and Clearwater. Although these sites have databases and registration functionality, they are not interactive. |

Harley Davidson - motorcycle dealerships. From 2004 - 2009 InterComm designed and maintained websites for three Harley-Davidson dealerships. In December 2009, the work was moved in-house with the dealerships maintaining their own websites. |

Why would a client choose an option that can only be updated by a web developer? Graphic websites have a lower initial outlay, and are suited to clients who do not change their text often.
Our graphic websites are more sophisticated in look and feel (see FeatureReach), with complete flexibility for site expansion and scaleability. An InterComm graphic website uses templates and CSS to ensure that the layout remains consistent - we design and build websites so that they are straightforward to update!
Many clients use Intercomm to maintain the site long term because they don't have in-house staff with writing and graphics skills, and there is nothing worse that a website with spelling or typing errors, or where the text is clumsy and verbose.
